Day 4: Hikari

If you're wondering, Hikari is the name of the train we took from Tokyo to Osaka. Most of this morning was spent on the Shinkansen traveling. The train arrived on time to Tokyo and Osaka, as expected from Japanese train services. Unfortunately, we were too busy lugging around luggage to actually take photos. As a side note, we've also claimed our JR Pass, so most travel will be done on JR from now on.

We did miss the original Hikari we planned to take, but missing it meant we arrived later, and not enough time for us to go to Shinsaibashi.

The first place we visited is Osaka castle. The area around it is filed with people in Gothic lolita. I would've taken a picture, but was too embarrassed. There was a lot of indie artists playing there as well.

We then went to Shintenoji shrine. It was quite a walk from the station, but it was worth it. Too bad it was closed when we got there.

Remember these flowers from Sankarea?
